Samuel Humphreys
Samuel Humphreys was introduced to the dances and technique of Isadora Duncan by Lori Belilove and Cherlyn Smith when he was 17. In Ballet he studied with Brynar Mehl, Larry Ensign, Dr. Raoul Gelabert and on a four year scholarship at the Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Conservatory. He worked extensively with Gelsey Kirkland, Nikolai Levitsky and Pilar Garcia Sussman. In modern dance he studied extensively with Jim May (Simon), Miki Orihara (Graham) and independently with Mary Anthony and Fritz Ludin. He continues to perform with the Anna Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble and the New York Baroque Dance Company.
