Fellow Artists and Thought Leaders
Isadora Duncan—a revolutionary dance artist, mother, and woman in arts leadership ahead of her time—was a global sensation whose influence transcended dance. Her bold choices sparked devotion and controversy, acclaim and critique, leaving an enduring impact on artistic movements and cultural trends across disciplines.
As part of Isadora150, we are inviting artists and thought leaders from diverse backgrounds to examine her legacy, both her triumphs and challenges. Through our programming, we explore the question: “Who is Isadora for today and the future?”
We are seeking collaborators who embody Isadora’s spirit today, including dancers, choreographers, filmmakers, musicians, visual artists, designers, scholars, researchers, authors, podcasters, cultural critics, and other creative visionaries. If you’re inspired to reflect on Isadora’s contributions through lenses like gender studies, environmental sustainability, or other contemporary perspectives, we’d love to hear from you.
