Emily D’Angelo
Emily D’Angelo grew up in Montclair, New Jersey where she started dancing in the public school’s performing arts program. Emily graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Dance at Barnard College. In addition to majoring in dance, Emily completed the Barnard Elementary Education Program. Emily first performed with The Isadora Duncan Dance Company in August 2010 and, after a year as an apprentice, became a full Company member in January 2012. Emily has performed with the Company in New York City and on tour in Tennessee, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Chicago, Greece, and China. With a wonderful propensity for teaching all ages, Emily currently teaches Duncan technique classes for children and adults as part of the Foundation’s class offerings in New York City as well as ballet classes in New Jersey. In the fall of 2014 Emily assisted Lori in setting repertory at Randolph College, Franklin & Marshall College, and The Peabody Preparatory of The Johns Hopkins University. In addition to her work with Lori Belilove, Emily has danced with the Mazzini Dance Collective and Gabrielle D’Angelo.
