  • “The dancer of the future will be one whose body and soul have grown so harmoniously together that the natural language of that soul will have become the movement of the human body. The dancer will not belong to any nation but to all humanity.”

  • Apprenticeships are offered on an individual basis to students demonstrating exceptional talent, commitment, and eagerness to learn. Apprentices train with the Company, taking classes and participating in rehearsals and other activities on a per-project basis for 1–2 years. Apprentices gain performing experience by participating in lecture/demonstrations and group works in a formal setting. Apprentices are assessed (approximately every 4 months) by meeting with Artistic Director Lori Belilove. Apprentices are invited into full Company membership by Artistic Director Lori Belilove.

  • The Isadora Duncan Dance Company is open to meeting talented dancers who wish to commit to immersing themselves in the Duncan technique and repertory. We select dancers based on talent, experience, commitment, and attitude. We hold formal auditions periodically, but you may also submit an introductory letter and resume to info@isadoraduncan.org in order to request permission to take Company class to get acquainted with the company and work.

  • Selected on talent, experience, and commitment the Artistic Director, Lori Belilove, accepts ongoing applications for company membership. Submit resume, headshot, and becky@isadoraduncan.org to request an audition.

  • A limited number of scholarships are offered on an individual basis to students demonstrating exceptional talent, commitment and financial hardship. To apply, send a letter of intent, photo, and resume to the attention of Artistic Director Lori Belilove at info@isadoraduncan.org.
