Members of Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company offers two Lecture/Demonstrations to students at PS112M. Our Lecture/Demonstration includes performance of solo and group repertory with an educational lecture on the social, political, and historical background involved in the creation of the Duncan works presented. The technique and training used in preparing dancers to perform in the style is demonstrated.

Members of Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company offers two Master Classes to students at PS133M. Our approach to Duncan Dance is made accessible to all ages and skill levels. This dance form sets itself apart with unique musicality and beautiful, flowing movement.

“March Madness” will be based on Isadora Duncan’s revolutionary dances of heroism, strength, and light. Dances will include Rakoczy Marche, Marche Heroique, and Marche Funebre. We will also present “ISADORA: Dance Pioneer & True Wild Woman,” a pre-show talk about the profoundly rich and beautiful artistic expressions of one of the genius artists of our century. $25 general admission / $30 reserved seating. Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company will return for a residency at Beijing No. 80 School and at Beijing Normal University, the #1 dance education institution in China. With support from the U.S. Embassy Beijing, we will offer two weeks of master classes and lectures with performances.
